Established in 2001, SWSHA (pronounced "Swish ah") is the leading non-profit Association organized to facilitate any and all activities that promotes, celebrates, commemorates, or recognizes Scottish-Celtic Ancestry and Heritage in the southwest region in the state of Washington in the United States of America.

Headquartered in beautiful and historic, County Clark in the state of Washington USA, this site is surrounded by some of the most spectacular natural and historic scenery in the whole North American continent. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the mighty Columbia River & the Cascade Mountains range, in the Willamette Valley basin it is very moderate weather year-round.

Relatively new to the Highland-Caledonian Associations, SWSHA was formed, born from the desire to return to the nostalgia, excitement and renewed interest in our Scottish-Celtic origins.

Although a newbie, interest and participation in the Association is growing at phenomenal rates, exceeding all expectations.
